My Backstory in a Nutshell

With 20+ years of experience in B2B and B2C marketing, I’ve worked at organizations of all sizes selling software, services, digital products, and merchandise.  I’m an “industry neutral” professional with a career that stretches across many verticals, such as global ecommerce, payments, supply chain, international shipping and logistics, fintech, cybersecurity, localization, retail, non-profit, and more (yes, there’s more!).

I spent the first 10 years of my career working in ecommerce, digital, and marketing for a variety of B2C companies. Over the past 10+ years, I’ve established, managed, and fired up the marketing function at several B2B SaaS and services businesses.

A Few Big Wins

The only marketing leader at Flow Commerce, a cross-border ecommerce solution, and key contributor to a $37.5M series B and a successful $500M exit within 3 ½ years

Contributor to the 3 largest consecutive quarters in new bookings in company history at Smartling, a translation tech and language services business

Led the launch of Trustmi, a cyber-fintech startup, out of stealth mode in 7 weeks and built the marketing function and GTM strategy from scratch.

I’m a full-stack, full-funnel marketer who loves wearing many hats and running at full speed.  My experience spans demand generation, product marketing, brand, and customer retention, and I love how all these aspects of marketing play nice and fit together. Marketing doesn’t stand still, so neither do I, which means I roll up my sleeves and jump in where I’m needed most.

Don’t box me into what you think Marketing is, because I can do a whole lot more when you need it. I like to tell people that I’m like water:  if there’s a gap holding back the business, I flow in, fix it, get it done, and make sure things keep rolling.  From new business strategy to commercial operations, I’ve got you covered.
